Celebrate International Womens Day on 8th March with your tutor group, class or as part of an online assembly. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten to mention when International Men’s Day is (it’s 19th November if you weren’t sure!). Included in the presentation is a selection of ideas to do in class, online or at home, as well as a Netflix and Disney+ watch list. On the second half of the presentation is a deep dive into some ideas for discussion if you want to dig a little deeper into some of the issues facing many women day today, such as what is the ‘mental load’, why are some people scared by the word ‘feminist’, and why shouting at a woman in the street whilst she is exercising is not a compliment. Included are a set of slides which can be presented online or viewed and printed offline. Also included is an online wordsearch (for which I have also included a printable version), and a memory round powerpoint, with a timer.
