I'm an international teacher currently working in Lima, Peru. I've previously worked at schools in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and South Korea. I teach Computer Science, core ICT and have just launched IB Digital Society at my school this year. My husband also works as a Computer Science teacher (and yes we talk tech all the time!) I hope that you find my resources useful and please give me feedback on how you get on with them, as well as any improvements or new content that you'd like to see.

Celebrate International Womens Day on 8th March with your tutor group, class or as part of an online assembly. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten to mention when International Men’s Day is (it’s 19th November if you weren’t sure!). Included in the presentation is a selection of ideas to do in class, online or at home, as well as a Netflix and Disney+ watch list. On the second half of the presentation is a deep dive into some ideas for discussion if you want to dig a little deeper into some of the issues facing many women day today, such as what is the ‘mental load’, why are some people scared by the word ‘feminist’, and why shouting at a woman in the street whilst she is exercising is not a compliment. Included are a set of slides which can be presented online or viewed and printed offline. Also included is an online wordsearch (for which I have also included a printable version), and a memory round powerpoint, with a timer. Find the links to the online versions of the presentation and wordsearch in the attached Word doc Please check out my other resources - I have loads of complete units of work for ICT, Animation, Computing an Graphic Design that I hope you will find useful and will also save you time!

Get them to work through this step by step troubleshooter guide to spring their PC / Mac computer by: -How to empty ‘Downloads’ (most pupils have no idea what this is) -How to empty your ‘Trash’ folder -How to make folders for all your subjects -Tidy up your desktop and other files -How to pin regularly used apps to your taskbar -How to bookmark websites that you use often -How to check for any updates This could also be useful for teachers that are missing the one-to-one help provided by on site school technicians! Please review this resource, I’d love to get your feedback and find out other ideas for how to use these in class! Check out my other resources too if you have found this set useful - I’ve got loads of other bundles and entire units of work for programming, HTML, animation, drones, using Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design bits and pieces.
